Common questions
Does the app require an account?
No. You can use the calendar without creating an account.
Does the calendar work offline?
Yes. Holidays and events already saved on your phone remain available offline. Syncing your phone’s calendars and making or restoring a purchase require a connection.
Which countries and years are covered?
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States, with verified calendar data for 2026–2030. Spain’s calendar covers 2026 and 2027; each year’s official list adds the next. You can choose any of these countries wherever you live. UK bank holidays follow England and Wales, with Scotland and Northern Ireland as regional calendars. US holidays are the federal holidays; state holidays are not included.
How do I choose regional calendars?
Open a country’s settings in Calendars to choose from its available areas. Regional calendars are available for supported areas in Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and the UK. You can select several areas and show national and regional dates separately. Coverage does not include every municipality.
Does every public holiday mean a day off?
No. Check the holiday’s work status: some dates are working-day observances, apply only in certain areas, or depend on your employment agreement. Long-weekend suggestions use generally non-working holidays. They are not offered for the Danish, Dutch, Irish, Swedish, UK or US calendars.
Can I show more than one country, or no country?
Yes. Add countries in Calendars to see their holidays in different colours. When choosing your country, select None to remove country calendars while keeping your personal events and device calendars.
How do I show calendars already on my phone?
Enable device calendars in Calendars, allow calendar access when asked, then choose which calendars to show. Calendars from Google, iCloud or Outlook need to be set up on your phone first. Your phone’s accounts handle their syncing.
Where can I see my events and reminders?
Select a date to see its events directly beneath the calendar. You can add your own events and birthdays with reminders, and enable holiday and long-weekend reminders in Settings. Allow notifications on your phone to receive them.
How do I remove ads?
Use the one-time Remove Ads purchase in Settings.
How do I restore Remove Ads?
Use Restore Purchases in Settings, signed in with the Apple or Google account used for the purchase.
Do purchases transfer between Android and iPhone?
No. An Android purchase does not carry over to iPhone, or vice versa. Restore your purchase using the same store and account you originally used.
